Research
Our mission is to encourage and support research and scholarship that (a) enhances the lives of Africans across Africa and the African Diaspora, and (b) serves as a catalyst for promoting an enabling environment where cultural production and discourse on diversity can be nurtured to advance the research, teaching, and outreach mission of Penn State University.
ARC encourages the development of projects in the areas of health, education, technology, environmental justice and cultural or racial identity issues across Africa and the African Diaspora. We strongly encourage the development of interdisciplinary work between the social sciences and the sciences.
